În luna august, moldovenii din toată lumea revin acasă la Zilele Diasporei!

În acest an, Biroul relații cu diaspora invită toți cetățenii Republicii Moldova stabiliți peste hotare la cel mai important eveniment al anului dedicat diasporei – Congresul Diasporei, ediția a XI-a!

Congresul Diasporei va avea loc pe 15 august curent și se va desfășura la Palatul Republicii, or. Chișinău.

Este momentul în care moldovenii din diasporă se reunesc, împărtășesc idei, discută despre viitorul țării și contribuția lor la dezvoltarea Moldovei.

Subiecte pe care le vom pune în discuție:

• Integrarea europeană;

• Activism civic și lupta cu dezinformarea;

• Tinerii din diaspora – liderii de mâine;

• Implicarea diasporei în dezvoltarea locală;

• Moldovenii din diaspora – ambasadori culturali ai RM în toată lumea.

Moldovan vocalist Ana Everling and Argentine guitarist Guillermo Paolisso bring together deep-rooted traditions and bold artistry in an intimate evening of music at Sabor a Café. Honored for their contributions to cultural preservation—Ana through her improvisational approach to Eastern European folk, and Guillermo as an ambassador of South American music—the duo presents original compositions and Latin American favorites. Their set flows between tenderness and intensity, shaped by virtuosity, playful chemistry, and a shared reverence for tradition.

It’s been a while, and we’re thrilled to finally share some new music and reconnect with all of you. Join us for a powerful night of sound, stories, and spirit. Opening the evening is the incredible Ana Everling Quartet, blending global textures and rich vocal traditions.

Join sound meditation facilitator Jay Taylor for an experience in sound. Settle into the space with light guided breathwork and the setting of intention. Find a place of comfort as the powerful frequencies of the crystal singing bowls and percussion interact with your cellular structure and brain state to elicit your experience. Allow your journey to unfold as you practice the art of acceptance, utilize the tool of breath to navigate points of resistance, and ultimately arrive into a state of deep relaxation. No skills, abilities, or beliefs are required to participate and/or benefit from this experience. 

"Diez Ventanas" is an intimate and poetic collection of new music, shared in a private setting before becoming an album. Featuring original compositions by Ana Everling and arrangements by Guillermo Paolisso, the project offers an acoustic experience built on the dialogue between voice and guitar. With a stripped-down, symbolic language, it invites listeners into a world where "Through my ten windows I watch the world — identical in every corner of time."

This is a private event with limited seating, including wine and appetizers. Tickets must be purchased in advance to ensure capacity can be properly monitored.

"Diez Ventanas" es una colección íntima y poética de nueva música, presentada en un entorno privado antes de convertirse en un álbum. Con composiciones originales de Ana Everling y arreglos de Guillermo Paolisso, el proyecto ofrece una experiencia acústica basada en el diálogo entre la voz y la guitarra. Con un lenguaje depurado y simbólico, invita al oyente a entrar en un mundo donde "A través de mis diez ventanas miro el mundo — idéntico en cada rincón del tiempo."

Fulton Street Collective presents SONGS OF A DECAYING EMPIRE: Music & Poetry by Robert Świstelnicki Live on Wednesday May 7th at 7:30pm

The evening will feature live painting from visual artist Lewis Achenbach.

‘Songs of a Decaying Empire’ is a project at the intersection of jazz, poetry, avantgarde and the singer-songwriter genre. It contemplates the dark corners of contemporary imperial depravity, it explores dreams, ecstasies, horrors and comedies of our “late capitalistic” circumstance and it philosophizes the aberrations of contemporary socio-political habits and paradigms. But it also looks- in the dark matter that it investigates- for light, love, humor and redemption.

For his current project Świstelnicki has invited the pearls of the Chicago jazz scene.
