Rândunica [ rɨnduˈnika ] is a musical project that treats song as a vital, life-giving duty. By bridging the stillness of ancestral memory with a bold, improvised present, Ana Everling and her ensemble do more than interpret tradition; they serve as messengers of renewal for a new generation. These compositions are vessels of the earth, holding the warmth required to break the frost of winter. This collection is the record of that flight - a passage from the quiet of the nest to the wild, improvised symphony of a world waking up.
